The birth of the restaurant is a significant part of 15 on Penguin Guesthouse. The whole vision was to extend a service to our guest to enjoy not only our warm and friendly hospitality but also enjoy our in-house dining. The privilege is that we serve warm hearty gourmet meals that is prepared by our in house chef. The new restaurant contributes towards bringing the opportunity for our guests to enjoy in-house dining but also to the broader public to  enjoy our sea view facilities and a great meal. Our menu changes frequently so we can create a new and fresh experience every time you dine with us.

Functions

Looking for a venue for your next sales conference, year end function, birthday celebration or product launch? We are available throughout the year to host your event and equipped to handle corporate events as well as private functions for +100 guests.

Venue Hire: R6000.00 Banquet Hall & Patio Area

  • R35 per person set up fee for chairs, seat covers, tables & table cloths
  • Cutlery, crockery & glasses

Optional Extra’s

  • Corkage fee, alternatively
  • Cash bar facility (bar person hours to be discussed)
  • Cleaning fee *
  • Red carpet with Photo booth (arch & back drop)
  • And/or music facility

 

General

  • Full Venue cost payable on confirmation (non refundable)
  • 00 Breakage Deposit (Refundable) *Please see below
  • No private catering allowed
  • No private alcohol allowed, fully licensed bar available on request
  • Menu & food specifications will be arranged and quoted for separately based on requirement

*This amount will be forfeited if client did not opt for the cleaning service & venue was not cleaned as per agreement

Weddings

We can host intimate wedding ceremonies & receptions. Our on site facilities include an undercover patio (with a marquee option) with soft lighting & a braai area which leads on to a beautifully maintained private garden. There is also a fully licensed bar area available with a balcony over looking Simon’s Bay.

  • Available for pre wedding bridal party preparation on the morning of the wedding
